While obtaining her college degrees in textile/apparel design and marketing from the University of Texas at Austin, she accepted a design internship with Anne Klein New York. Understanding that the fashion industry is all about fulfilling the customer's needs, Judy decided to begin her fashion career in retail and merchandising to better understand the business. Her previous experiences include working at major fashion retailers like Liz Claiborne, Macy's, and Mervyn's.
